i did the summer learning journey and i ha to see what charity that i wanted to talk about and what they do to help raise money for charity.

Summer learning journey

we did a Summer Learning Journey for we had to find the road that some of the family members in my family live on.

this week we did summer learning journey we can survive with out food on a boat we one
then we had to list 10 foods that we wold take on a boat.

Maori

this week for Maori i had to time and i had to translate the time in to English from Maori
and it was easy because there was word that were in Maori and we had to tell the time .

Cybersmart

this week for cyber smart we had to make a slide that involves legal
images  and i had to do a animation that had legal images .

Tennis

this week for tennis we had to do 1 on 1 there is a champion and there is a
challenger and there are five balls who ever gets out has to get out and go to
the back of the line after the games we had to have a challenger and the challenger makes it to the semi finals.

then we had to fed it in to the challenger and it was fun because there was a limit from were the ball had to go out and it would be easier to get the other people out easy because they have a little square
and the champion has a big square easier for the challengers.

Maori

this week for Maori we had to do a  google docs  that had the days and the weeks  on the google docs and put them in the right order.

KiwiCan

this week for Kiwi Can we had were learning about respect and we were playing a game that has basketballs and there was a line  and there had to be a person in front of the line and they had to pass the ball back and ford in till the person in the front gets back to the front and they have to run and try to get a goal.

Tennis

this week for tennis we had to get in to partners and when we get the two champions out twist we have to switch and when the champions get the people that are playing them out the the people that are playing the champions are out.

Frames

this week we made frames so we can sell the frames to other people and we have to bring in money to get tokens to buy things.

this week for basic facts i had to do my addition and subtraction  it gets
harder and at the top it gets easier.

L.I to Respect other for their differences

Everyone has their own beliefs/ideas/customs. hold your tongue ( think about what you should say before you say anything because it might be rude in their Culture.

Learn about other cultures and religions and custom. The activity we played was spot the difference.
and we had to number ourselves 1 to 2   so when we switch she says the number that we put ourselves in to we had to change something of ours so they wont recognize what we changed they have to change appearance.

Then we played a game named master tag  someone has to yell out a name and we have to count down from 10 and when the last person gets tagged we cant tag back so when the last person to get tag when the counting stops.

SSR Selfie

this week for SSR Selfie i had a book that i like to read alot and it is a dinosaure book that has kids and it looks fun to read the book.

Inquiry

for inquiry we had to play a game named coffee shop this game is about supply and demand 
we have to make a delicious tasty coffee that will  make lots off money and there is only 14 days to
get as much money as possible .

Reading

LI - Build knowledge of vocabulary, and links words create to the wider world.

for reading i had to make a google slide of what and who is  road dahl's friend
and family  members.

Writing

for writing we had to make a rhyme  that describe this photo

athletics

we had athletics day and it had lots of activity's to play as a team and there was a sponge game that we had  jump in a sack and jump to a tent that look like a tent and we had to take of the sack and
get the sponge collect water and squeeze the water in the bucket. there were 4 teams the teams where
red,yellow,green and blue.

Maths

for Math we had to make a plane and the name of the  plane i made was named zip flip and when i flew my plane it flips and it glides. we went to the hall when we finished making our planes and started to fly our hard  work paper planes.

this week for maori we had to do a google docs we had to translate what the Maori is in to English
so they know what the word is.

Kiwi Can

this week for kiwi can we played a game we had to put one of  our hands at the back our back and when we say go me and my partner had to pull it out and make  a number  with your hands for Example if i pull out  a one  and my partner pulls out a five we have to add it up five plus one equal  five and the first one to say the number wins.

then we played a game the name of the game was named musical cones we had to dance and we had to stay on the  side that we got put on and when the music stops we have  to get a cone
from the middle and put on out head and sit down if we survive the last cone the last one to get the cone wins the game.

i watched saint Patrick video and the video was named kaleidoscope and they did the kaleidoscope with there hands and the video was fantastic

i watched a video from pt England school it was a cool video because it tells me to
help other people and work together.

Kiwi Can

this week for kiwi Can we had to  play a game named rock paper scissors someone wins we had to stay up and when they lose we had to go on our knees when we get  out again  we are out until someone wins the round. then we played another activity we played was animal choir
and when he points a bottle at us we have to say the animal sound he gives us the lions one .

then we had to do the combo if he points at us with his hand we can not speak in the animal languahe gives us until he points the bottle to point at the group.

this week for math I had to go around asking people what sports they like the options I had were basketball,soccer,cricket  or other this graph below shows the results.

I found that other sports were the most popular

but the second most popular sport was basketball the least popular was cricket.

I did a record  sheet then  I did a tally sheet and a graph.

this week fir writing we had to put our Three little pigs story in to the name named topes
then we had to name the sentences that we think what is topes.

this week for Cybersmart we had to find a image and see if it was free to use or it was not 

free to use the image i  picked was  three dogs and the image i got it was free to use the image.

Tennis

this week for kiwi sport we had tennis and we where working on our back hand and our  forehand
the coach that  was teaching us was coach peter and he helped us make sure we where doing the  hitting properly.

Writing

We had to write our own version of the three little pigs or work as a group we decided to pick to work together.

this week for cybersmart we had to find what is a legal image and what is a illegal

image a illegal image is when the the creator  does not want 

the public to borrow their photo.

A legal pictures means the person wants  the public 

to borrow his pictures  and shares  their photos.

This week for kiwi can we were talking about what we did last week.

Then we play a game called The leader then she gave us a action so we can show the people in groups all together the first one was clap our hands all together two  times. then we played a  game called knot  we had to get in to a circle and put our hands in to th middle but we can not grab the persons hand next to us we had to grab the person we had to grab the person  across from us so i would not be easy the undo then once we did the knot we had to und do the knot.this week we were talking about respecting yourself and talking about strength

this week for maths we had to roll a dice and what ever number it rolls on we have to put it down and 

we have to put the numbers we rolled  wed had to roll it  50 times .

L.I to write a recount in limited time 
this week for writing we had to do a practice recount then  i had to write a recount about where i went out to eat and with who i went out to eat with my family with my cousins my aunts and uncle and sister and brother and my mum and dad we went to Mac Donald´s to have lunch.

Reading

this week for reading we had to make a bookmark so when we read our book we can stay on track
of where we are reading and when we need to finish.

Maori

this week for Maori we had to do the country´s in Maori and the places in Maori as well

it was fun because we get to listen to new words in Maori. 

steady

we went outside to play a stick game named steady stick we had to hold the stick hand pull the stick with out moving we had to pull the other person over with out moving our feet  .

Kiwi Can

this week for kiwi can we played a game named physical challenges we had to get a partner the same size and try to get up without our hand touching the floor then


we had to do a human pyramid the strong people have to be at the bottom and there has to be two people in the middle and one person on

the top then we had to get in to a circle and put our hands on the person in front of me and once we do that we have to try to sit down on the persons lap.

then we played another game we had to have hand guns with our fingers and when they call our names we have to duck and if they don´t call  your name the people next to the person that got there

then we played verses we had to do a favorite then when he calls a two things you can go to what  you like the most.

for  an example : 
 if he says two things like chocolate and milk chocolate and i would run to the one i would prefer the most and i would prefer milk chocolate then we have to give the best argument 
and he has to decide what is the best argument and choose a side that wins.

Reading

LI - Build knowledge of vocabulary, and links words create to the wider world.
This week for reading we had to make a vocab builder so we can build knowledge then we had to make a google slide that had rap lyrics and poetic lyrics.

Rugby Event

What I found out by researching the question is that the All Blacks is an amazing team.  

swimming

L.I To learn  water  safety skills
 
This week for swimming was our last week and we swam as a whole group and  had to put on
life jackets.  We had to swim to the wall.  Then  we had to hug our legs. and try to float. Then we did our pencil dive was to jump in just like  a pencil. Then we had to get out and have a shower to rinse the life jacket off. Then we had to take it off. when we did swimming it was amazing

places to visit in japan

LI: To apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the RWC.
This week we have been learning about the Rugby World Cup that has been held in Yokohama, Japan. We had to do five slides of where we wanted to go in Japan. We researched lots of places to find about the facts.The five places that we want to visit in Japan are, Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hokkaido, and Fuji.

Rube goldburge/simple machines

L.I To learn the five simple Machine and apply what you learnt to make a simple Machine.

Our Rube Goldburg machines were tested and presented. We had to choose one scenario out of three.  A Rube Goldburg machine is a complicated machine made to do a simple task. Our scenario was putting a ball into the goal, but the main idea was to put the ball in the cup.If you wanted someone to be one of the part in the machine then they had to wear a blindfold. Also when they wear the blindfolds something or someone must touch a object to trigger the item..

Example : 

Say if you were in the machine and something touches you then you move. You can't see which direction you are going or what direction you going to hit something into.

What we used : 

We also had to include the simple machines.

The 4 main Parts were 

1-wheel and axle

2-Lever

3-Pulley

4-Inclined Plane.

Experiences In the groups :

Each member in the groups thought was that our machine was going to fail because the person putting might of hit the ball in the wrong direction. But our simple machine worked. Every part of the simple machine worked.

What I would do Differently :

I will change the part when someone pushes the domino's and someones finger is their. So when the domino's touch someones finger and they push the pull. Just to make it is easier.
