i like to do this because it helps me with my basic facts  and it makes
me get smart and it can be fun when you can do challenges with the

for music we got to play on the pianos,ukuleles the people with the ukulele get to go out side with the ukulele and play there where some people who stayed

term 1 kiwi can overview

L.I to recap everything we did in kiwi can

today in kiwi can we recapped all of our learning from term 1 our big theme was positive relationship
our 3 modules were positive communication
friendship
cooperation.

We made 3 groups of each groups talked about the 5 w's and the h for 1 module
After we talked as a group  each group shared there ideas back to  the class.

the one thing i enjoyed was learning about other greetings.
the one thing i learnt was positive relationships.
the one thing i need to work on is respect.

this is what we did for math we had to go on prodigy and  battle other animals and it gives
us a chest with random stuff inside. i went on to my basic facts boxes that were made  by my
teacher Mr Wong . then i went on to prototec and i got 100% it tells you how much you got and
what time you finished the time i finished was  1 minute and 18 seconds.

kiwi sport

for kiwi sport we had played a game of ki o rahi and we had
a fun game and we got split up in to two teams and it had
got so fun that the red team started to win
and the blue team start to lose but we started
to get angry and the blue team started to catch up.

for reading i had to get a ornament and find out the person who made it
and i had found my person who had the ornament i had the person who had
it was Richard and we had to find information about your person.

i had commented on hoseas blog and  it had a nice blog post about his subtraction and addition 
and it tells me how much he has got right and how much he had wrong.

Poetry

L.I to identify the purposes for a poem

Poetry is a text for communicating  ideas and expressing feelings to people .

Poetry can include sounds patterns . they are rhyme and rhythm.

Rhyming is repeating sounds in words there are four kinds of rhyme: consonance,
end rhyme,alliteration,and assonance.

consonance is the  beginning  sound of the first letter.
end rhyme is the last sound of the word.
alliteration is within a group of words that rhyme.
assonance is a resemblance in the sound of words.


i had done this poem on a piece of paper and i had used a highlighter
then i had to highlight the rhyming words.

today for kiwi can we were learning about
friendship we learnt that there are times we can say no
we talked about situations were it is ok to say no!
we discussed different ways to not say no that does not show  disrespect.
we did a activity called empathy role play a group acted out a situations
and as a class we needed to decide the way to say no our opinion were :No thanks,let do something else instead,its just not my thing and that not nice.
